Mom… such a simple word, only three letters
Yet, I can call out and say Mom, and she’ll come running
She’ll give me a hug, she’ll give me a kiss, hold me close
And make me feel better...
If I am sick, she’s there to help me heal
If I am sad, she’s there to make me smile
If I am hungry, she’ll feed me
If I am stuck on a problem, she’s there for me
If I need a shoulder to cry on, she’s there
If I need strength, she’ll hold my hand
And always, always, I know you pray for me,
I can feel your prayers every day, as I go to work,
When I take a test, when I have a problem, you pray…
And things happen… the prayers of a mom are always heard.
So Mommy, I honor you today, and every day, really…
I take the time today to say how much I love you and admire you.
If God one day grants me the blessing of becoming a mom,
I pray I can be like you…
Meek, but strong enough to withstand life’s most difficult situations
Loving and kind, yet a force to be reckoned with when your children are involved
Hospitable, generous, accepting, friendly…
I am so thankful that God brought me to you….
You’ve loved me and comforted me every day from the moment I was born…
I love you mom!

Life Happens
Most people see life as a never-ending rollercoaster
Some say that when you have a plan and then you can't see it through, life happens...
I believe life is a gift and it should be lived as one
And when things go wrong and nothing seems right
Don't fret, don't fear, sooner or later things will turn around
And when you feel lost and helpless
And it seems that you're alone
It is then that you must trust that things will soon change
And that someone will be there
Some say that when you have a plan and then you can't see it through, life happens...
I believe life is a gift and it should be lived as one
And when things go wrong and nothing seems right
Don't fret, don't fear, sooner or later things will turn around
And when you feel lost and helpless
And it seems that you're alone
It is then that you must trust that things will soon change
And that someone will be there
Annaleigh
Mourning a loss...
I spent a few hours going through pictures and making this video... as I made it, I wept and prayed for Annaleigh's mommy and daddy, and for her Lollie and Poppy, and for LaLa and Kiko... may God give you the strength and peace of his Holy Spirit. Love you all.

The Time Has Come Today
Today it hit me... In just a few months I'll be a college graduate, and in 5 months, I'll be starting my new degree in hospitality management...
This has been a long time coming... From the time I was 14 years old, I made a list of goals to be obtained... Among them were some goals such as learning to learn another language besides Spanish, to travel outside of the country and live in a new country... Another goal was to finish high school with honors, and attend college... to help out actively in the ministry...
I am thankful to say that I have been able to do everything I set out to do when I was 14... Attending college was not possible for several years... there was a time when I thought that it would never happen... even some time when I decided I wanted nothing to do with the ministry and I did not want to be a Pastor's daughter again...
Six years after we moved to Conroe, Texas I can say that I cannot imagine my life without God, without being in the ministry... without church...
I am so very blessed... I have a family that loves me, a church I consider as family, the freedom to worship as I wish... and in the very near future, a college degree...
The time has come for me to set new goals... to go beyond where I've gone before... to seriously consider the possibility of establishing a more permanent ministry...
I want to have goals... to be challenged more... to truly participate in the ministry... to have real career... to do more... care more... believe more... love more
My only wish is to please God with my actions... to do His perfect will in my life... I pray that you my friend, can say the same...
