The Spanish-speaking congregation in CUPC is seeing growth! I am so blessed to be part of such an amazing experience. Yesterday (Tuesday), we met in the CUPC sanctuary to celebrate with the angels for the baptism of a young couple my parents have been giving bible studies to...
Last Sunday, as my sister and I were in church, I felt the need to intercede for this couple in prayer, and later I found out that they truly did need those prayers...
I sit here and think almost 6 years back, and I remember that though I loved the idea of being part of such a wonderful church, I was not at all excited about being a pastor's kid again...
Fast forward to now... I can feel the calling of God in my life and I am ready for him to ask whatever he need of me... After ups and downs, I now feel more committed than ever before, to the Kingdom...
Later I will be posting pictures of our new converts...

I left my past at the altar
Last night I left my past at the altar...
It is strange how many times I've left it there
To go back the next day and pick it up again...
But last night, see last night was different
I left it there, to never get it back...
I have laid the past to rest
And I have left him there...
Today is on to better things
I will look forward and not back
I have left him go and I might never get him back...
But that's ok, because I know there will be better things ahead...
So Lord, please help me
To not take it back again...
Give me the strength I need
To keep moving forward and not turn back...
